We were actually going to Ted to get our first camera but when we passed by Camera Electronics, we decided to just hop in and have a second opinion. It was definitely the best ever because Anthony and Chris were extremely patient, passionate and knowledgeable about getting our first camera as beginners! We got the Canon R50 and other accessories at a very good price after comparing with other models. Would highly recommend Camera Electronics to fulfill your photography passion!

Went during the Black Friday sales period and received excellent customer service. The lady serving was happy to let me try out a camera and lens without hassle, and when I said I'll think about it for the time being, she made no issue of it at all. I've been to competitors who have uninterested or weirdly passive aggressive staff. It's refreshing to enjoy the presence of helpful and friendly staff. I did end up buying the item I tried out from Camera Electronic, even though there were slightly cheaper alternatives. They are also very responsive and transparent about their stock availability, both in email comms and on their website. Best local camera store I've been to for sure.

I got my X-M5 here, I am super lucky since it was out of stock everywhere in Perth. The staff here were amazing, everyone was so nice and patient. Especially Chris, thanks for helping me again

I wanted to thank Camera Electronic and the whole team, especially Courtney and Dylan. They’re absolute heroes. If anyone is looking to buy a camera, lens or any other photography equipment, these are your guys. They genuinely help and guide you through the entire process, making sure you choose the best option for your needs. I purchased my first personal full-frame camera with them and also scored and amazing Black Friday deal. The experience was outstanding from start to finish. 10/10 for service! Thank you to Saul and the other team member who helped me today (I’m really sorry I can’t remember his name) … for providing such a seamless shopping experience. Saul answered my questions and provided the info I needed, ordered the product, contacted as soon as it arrived, and happily arranged to have it transferred from their Stirling St store to their Murray St store as it was more convenient for me. All staff in the store were welcoming and offered to assist me while I was in there today to collect it and browse. If you’re looking for friendly, efficient and professional service from people who know what they’re talking about when it comes to camera gear, I can 100% recommend Camera Electronic. Had an absolutely wonderful experience. Was in WA on holiday a pooped in the day before flying home as I’d been considering replacing my old SLR. I had no idea what I was looking for but got chatting to Paddy who was so informative and helpful. No hefty sales pushing either but he helped give me an idea of what would be suitable and how much. We found a great camera and he gave me a great demo and with the currency conversion I could get a really good deal. We went back a few hours later after much consideration and made the purchase of the Canon R50. He sorted out a great invoice to enable me to claim back the GST at the airport and was so thorough. I’d highly recommend this place it’s a little gem in the heart of the city. Thanks Paddy!!

Camera Electronic have provided me the best online service I've ever recieved! I was dealing with Brent specifically, who was able to get in contact with Ilford and special order me some paper stocks. I'm so used to online stores not replying, or if they do reply, not offering to actually help. Brent went the extra mile for me, and without him and Camera Electronic, I wouldn't be able to do my project. All emails were responded to promptly, shipping of the items was prompt, packaged perfectly. I will definitley be making Camera Electronic my main store for purchasing photographic supplies!

The girl who helped me today (I forgot to ask her name!) was honestly so lovely, helpful and gave great advice. I 100% recommend this place for the amazing customer service and the wide variety of options. I’m very grateful ☺️ she helped me fit the filter on my lens and was incredibly patient and informative with all my questions.

I recently purchased the OM-5 with the 12-45mm lens kit from this store and had a great experience.
